Our brand new Baby range is now available! The new products come in bottles derived from sugarcane, dubbed the ‘next generation’ of eco-friendly packaging. The ‘bio-plastic’ bottles offer families a lower carbon alternative to standard plastic, that is fully recyclable.
We are doubley excited about our new Baby Hair & Body Wash with Cucumber & Aloe Vera, and Baby Moisturiser with Cottonseed & Aloe Vera – as they use bottles made from sustainable, sugarcane-based raw materials, which are much kinder to our planet. The Baby Moisturiser with Cottonseed & Aloe Vera is Paediatrician approved and was recently clinically proven as suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
We are committed to kindness, not just to the skin of our favourite little people, but also to our planet too. Founder, Amy Wordsworth, says:
“We’re immensely proud to be leading the way in the industry with our eco-friendly packaging. Plastics have come under a lot of scrutiny recently, in relation to single-use and marine pollution. But they are hard to avoid in the bathroom because they do a good job of safely containing and protecting liquid toiletries.
“As a bathroom brand focused on the next generation, it is our responsibility to use this material responsibly and try to reduce our impact on the environment wherever possible. Our new bio-plastic packaging offers families a fully recyclable, lower carbon alternative to standard plastic.
“The pumps are also 100% recyclable, unlike most pumps on the market which contain unrecyclable components. At £4 per product, they offer a greener option that doesn’t cost the earth,” adds Amy.
Now available on our Web Shop, Boots.com and all their major stores. The products are suitable for newborns, dermatologically tested and have a no tears formulation. Both are also hypoallergenic, vegan friendly and cruelty free.
This is just the latest move in our mission towards more sustainable business practices. Last year, we moved to 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic across our standard bottle range, reducing the impact we have on landfill and alleviating the use of fossil fuels for virgin plastic.
Our favourite Dragon, Deborah Meaden has said: “I am proud to be part of a company with goodness at its heart. A fantastic, clinically tested new baby range delivered with kindness (cruelty free) and better for our environment. I’m in!”
